If you’re a Waterleaf resident, then you have already succeeded in giving yourself one of the best gifts available – a beautiful home in a community oriented neighborhood! With the holidays coming up quick, we thought you might like some tips on how to prepare your home for the holidays that ignite the spirit of the season!
Spice Up Your Front Door! There is nothing quite like hanging a beautiful wreath that reflects the season on your front door. Choose vibrant fall colors like gold, bronze and browns to add some seasonal flair to your door. We love gold and orange ribbons weaved through a natural wreath of delicious smelling eucalyptus with pinecone accents for a Thanksgiving wreath! For December, use reds and gold with cinnamon spices and holly to set off your front door with seasonal spirit!
Mugs for the Season! We don’t always get cool weather in Florida, but when we do it’s time to break out our favorite mugs for spiced cider, hot cocoa and coffee. If you have guests coming into town, set up a self-serve coffee bar with seasonal mugs. Add some delicious biscotti into the mix or gourmet chocolates and your guests will be raving!
Display Your Holiday Photos! This is the perfect time to print last year’s holiday pictures of the family and frame them. Set up an area in your home that showcases your holiday photos. With the holiday’s being about family and loved ones there is no better time to display your love of the holidays and the love for your family.
Bring on the Holiday Scents! Coming home to a cozy home, filled with the smell of cinnamon, pine, sweet orange and clove is just downright enjoyable. Treat yourself to a great new holiday candle or some essential oils that inspire holiday cheer.
Treats for the Season! If you have guests coming, whip up a batch of homemade cookies. You can even bring some to the neighbors for a sweet holiday gift that won’t go unappreciated.
Enjoy the holiday’s this season in Waterleaf. We look forward to a wonderful time of thanks, appreciation, giving and love with you! Share with us your favorite Holiday tradition on Facebook!
